Flemmich Webb – 34, is a freelance editor and journalist from Lambeth. Great team member, steady stalwart and calming influence. Hopes for the expedition: to experience some of what the great explorers of old (Nansen, Scott, Shackleton) had to deal with. And to test his own resolve.

Hannah Smiles – 26, is a journalist from London - she has joined IW for the adventure, the challenge and for personal development. She has never dreamed of walking to the North Pole, but has always dreamed of walking into 'the back of beyond’ and getting immersed in awe-inspiring environments.

Raoul

Raoul Surcouf - 37 yr old landscape gardener. Originally From Jersey. Survived cancer 20 years ago since then he has constantly set challenges for himself. Usually sits in an office all day and so enjoys the contrast afforded by undertaking physical challenges in hostile environments! Oliver Mills – 27, from Brighton is a Trainee Lawyer.  His hobbies include Kung Fu, football, and rock climbing.  In what is reckoned, fairly confidently, to be a first, he is expected to qualify as a lawyer just as he arrives at the North Pole.

Alex Ealey – 25, from Kenley is a Property developer. “I’ve always had a sense of adventure and have wanted to go to one of the poles since I first heard of Captain Scott when I was a lad. This should raise challenges that are so different from day-to day-living.”
