Ice Warrior is all about doing things properly and our Ice Warrior comprehensive training programme demonstrates this.

On our flagship expeditions we train all participants to be safe and competent polar travellers, from scratch and carefully measuring and recording progress. And that takes time and effort.

BUT NOW you can attend any course in isolation and for your own purposes. So whether you're heading towards an Ice Warrior flagship expedition or considering your own expedition you can join us and benefit from Jim's 25 years of polar training experience.

Our courses are now modular so can be taken all at once or spread over a period of months/years.

Our next block of training is in Svalbard, in the High Arctic in October of this year.

In addition we are holding courses in the UK covering rope work and navigation for those wishing to get ahead of the game.

Fee does not include the following: flights, insurance, cost of end of course dinner/celebration, personal kit and equipment

After successful completion of the above then it is time to form teams, work on fitness and work on fundraising and sponsorship to get the funds together for participation on one of our Flagship Expeditions. These can cost between £10K and £40K.

For some, the two week expedition in Svalbard in October will be what they wanted to achieve, for others this will just be the start………..
