Ice Warrior is all about doing things properly and our comprehensive training programme demonstrates this.

We train all participants to be safe and competent polar travellers, carefully measuring and recording progress.

And that takes time and effort.

UK Basic Technical Training
6 intensive days including: medical skills - REC Level 2, navigation, ropework and campcraft

UK Advanced Technical Training
6 days including: medical skills REC level 4, further technical training following the full syllabus

Specialist Training
Intensive 6 days specifically designed for the actual expedition you will be undertaking

Arctic Training
2 weeks of comprehensive Arctic training based in our base camp in Resolute Bay, Canada - this will be just prior to joining your expedition- this will also form your acclimatisation
