2004 - The Geomagnetic North Pole

In April 2004 under Jim’s leadership, five members of the Ice Warrior Squad that had undergone a 70 day training camp the previous year successfully traversed over 300 miles of treacherous terrain and extreme weather conditions to reach the Geomagnetic North Pole—the first of four north poles. This created a world first, having the first two women in history to visit the pole.

It was a journey of critical teamwork, of self discovery, of technical development, of scientific investigation and educational portrayal.
