More Time – Less Intense – Workshops wherever possible! That’s what we all concluded!
Having just returned from training new recruits for the Inaccessible Pole expedition in Svalbard I get the impression that people are beginning to get out there again, after the economic gloom.
So I am just announcing this years batch of Expedition Training Weekends.
The first is a Planning Workshop – 20th 21st April, Berkshire, UK £250 incl. accommodation, food, instruction and materials.
All the best laid plans can and do go wrong particularly in expedition planning but what should your plan have in it to begin with? What are the components of a good plan and what should people expect of that plan?
I will lead you through the trials, tribulations, ins and outs of a good plan.
And you will put the lessons learnt into action during the weekend.
Based in the classroom but conducted in a workshop fashion the course will cover aspects such as research, budgeting, politics, administration, cultural considerations, practicalities, budgeting, fundraising, sponsorship seeking and sponsorship delivery.
Navigate to the training page to find out more about the courses that we offer – use the “Request more details” link to find out specifics.
Look forward to hearing from you and as ever any questions then give me a call! (N.B.There’s no such thing as a stupid question!)
See you soon. Jim
