Cara Jones – 31, from North Wales is a Researcher with Oxford University in the Department of Psychiatry. She’s always sought out interesting experiences and wants to do something unique that will push both her psychological and physical limits and hopes to inspire others to achieve great things.

Mark Kelly - 30, is currently a Development Team Leader for a digital marketing agency based in Leamington Spa. He has long harboured desires of polar expeditioning, having read about the exploits of the likes of Ran Fiennes and Pen Hadow. Mark is a keen competitor in endurance events such as the Ironman Triathlon and various adventure races. He also enjoys mountain biking and surfing in his ever decreasing amount of free time.

Ant Metcalfe – 34 is presently a Team Leader in Bath for Skill Force, an organisation that reengages today's youth in mainstream schooling via more vocational means. A former Army Officer with 12 years experience, Ice Warrior offers the opportunity to test himself in hostile environments while developing and pushing his team building skills to the limits. Also as a father to a young son, Ice Warrior offers the opportunity to highlight the growing concerns of Climate Change and the impact on the future of our planet.

Martyn Stott - 25, is a recent graduate from St Martins College, Ambleside with a degree in Outdoor Studies and is currently part of the Solid Ground Project run through Brathay to facilitate young people's learning and develop himself as a trainer. He is working towards a career in outdoor/expedition industry and hopes to make this the first of many trips to the cold, remote area of the world.

Jenny Mansell-Moullin - 30, loves her job working as a firefighter in London where she has been fighting fires for 3 years. A keen interest in Polar regions runs in Jenny's genes; her grandfather was invited to go on Scott's ill-fated expedition to the Pole (his mother wouldn't let him go) and her father was offered a job with the British Antarctic Survey. Jenny loves the camaraderie that results from working in extreme circumstances and is longing to experience the Arctic wilderness with her Ice Warrior team mates.
